Small double-sided postcards will be handed out with more tips and information about the theme and campaign itself. These will be posted throughout the building for students to take, handed out to students in classrooms, made available in the art galleries, and given to instructors who are willing to pass them out.

Learn the facts
1. Sustainability n. the ability to meet the needs of the
present while living within the carrying capacity of supporting
ecosystems and without compromising the ability of future
generations to meet their own needs
2. Each UC Berkeley graduate and undergraduate student pays
$5.50 a semester to The Green Initiative Fund,
a grant-making fund for sustainability projects.
3. UC Berkeley’s target is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to
1990 levels by 2014. (CalCAP)
4. Over 70% of campus emissions are from electricity and steam
usage. (CalCAP)
5. 80% of our emissions are associated with campus buildings.
The majority of the remaining emissions come from campus related
travel. (CalCAP)
Tips
1. Turn off the studio lights if you are the last one to leave.
2. Bring a hand towel to class to dry your hands.
3. Report leaky faucets ASAP by calling
